Fitness influencer Luanne Murta Jardim dos Santos Martins, 30 years old, was killed during an attempted robbery on Sunday night (21st) in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro.

She and her husband, João Pedro Farche, were driving through an access ramp to Linha Amarela in the Engenho de Dentro neighborhood when they were approached by criminals.
The thieves tried to steal the vehicle and fired a shot, injuring Luanne in the shoulder. The bullet hit the influencer’s heart region, who has over 350,000 followers on Instagram.
Luanne was taken to the Salgado Filho Municipal Hospital in Méier, near the crime scene, but did not survive the injuries.
The victim’s husband conveyed a message of gratitude to the fans for the support received during this time of mourning.
João Pedro Farche used Luanne’s Instagram Stories to talk about the incident and mentioned that their child was in the vehicle. The child suffered minor abrasions.
